One of the most glaring Britpick errors is always when people use a slang word CONSTANTLY instead of just throwing in as an occasional alternative to the standard word. Especially when they use it slightly wrong, eg saying “loo” instead of “bathroom” every single time, when bathroom is a word we actually do use for a room with a bath in it.
