Watching Peter on the verge of tears while a bunch of his peers sit around him discussing how great the Libertines were less than a year after their split is one of the hardest things I’ve ever watched. If you haven’t seen this classic bit of footage already, brace yourself: (x)
So I’ve been on this site for three years. I missed the actual anniversary, on December 11, because of lots going on, not least with this site itself. I don’t know what is going to happen next, but I can say that the day I started blogging here, my life changed for the better. This community grows and wanes and grows again, some faces have stuck in all along, and some have moved on, but at the core of it all is this beautiful fandom, who come together at various shows around the world. It’s a real community, full of real people, who have all been so enriched by this band and often by each other. So thank you, all of you. I shall be on the deck as the Titanic does down no matter what, playing The Good Old Days, probably. Thank you for three wonderful years. x
Agreed. I’m sticking around, too. I love the band & the organic nature of The Libs fandom here. Let Tumblr figure themselves out and we’ll get back to it.
Rebuild is a good way of looking at it! We can just repost any pics that get erroneously pulled, train tumblr’s algorithm to recognise that Peter’s boobs aren’t obscene
