Surely in an 143k fic, the smut is what you lead UP to. Mind you, the best and longest fic I ever read was 130k and there wasn’t one bit of smut at all.

Ideally I’d like the smut to be evenly distributed throughout :3b But the story got kind of action-y and action is so hard to read, even more so than watching it on screen >.> Also it’s a period piece so it’s written in quite heavy, archaic language, so it’s taken me much, much longer to read the second half than the first! Six chapters to go… and I’m pretty sure it’s heading for a tragic ending ><
