If a British person wants to make a “treat” breakfast they will not make pancakes! (Unless it’s Shrove Tuesday and even then they’re more a teatime thing.) A more appropriate breakfast to offer someone in a romantic or affectionate context would be a bacon sarnie lbr. Maybe even full English if it’s true love.
