Fun story: me and my housemates at uni were so excited for the opening of the first Taco Bell in Sheffield we cleared our schedules and organised a house Taco Bell outing
Ok but the quesadillas are great and the first time I went there I burned my mouth off
Going to taco bell was gr9
I was kinda fucking dying bc everything feels way too spicy for me bc sensory issues but yes still v good
I actually thought there were less than this wow. I’ve been to the one in Manchester with @incorolla, that was exciting
This is the best thing ever to witness, as an American. One doesn’t often hear “taco bell”, “great”, and “way too spicy” in the same sentence over here…
Ok but I got literally the spiciest thing on the menu bc I managed to not look at the hotness rating. And then I inhaled some by accident so I had hot sauce in my airway. We get spicy shit over here too, you can get scotch bonnets on pizza which is just the best it’s just that that was one spicy fucking burrito man
The quesadillas were gr9 tho. Bearing in mind that we don’t exactly have much Mexican food over here and pretty much no chains as far as I remember?
That’s trueeee what’s up with that man why don’t u have mexican restaurants here i miss that a lot
In spain i have two of them a five minute walk away from my house and here there’s no way of finding any 😦
Wait, Sheffield has Taco Bells? Not that I intend to go but WHERE?!
Ecclesall Road and Division Street, I believe! The queue for the Ecclesall Road one was hilarious when it first opened!
Taco Bell can fuck off, if you’re in Sheffield and choosing their food over the Street Food Chef you need banishing from the city!!!
Also when people say we “don’t have Mexican food” in the UK I’m like, are you living in the woods or what, burritos are everywhere these days! You can’t turn round without falling into a vat of pulled pork! And for people who say it’s “too spicy” WE’RE A NATION OF CURRY LOVERS. Please do NOT judge the UK by those spicephobes >.>
