I’ve always thought people in general were pretty dumb but I s2g since having my shop it’s given me a new insight into just how many people seem to struggle with simple concepts such as doors, tea, and cafes in general. I’ve got 30 big fuckin’ kilner jars full of tea, labelled, behind the counter and people ask me “what sort of tea have you got”, or even say “Oh I didn’t see them!” Wtf did you think they were?! Do you have eyes?? 

A guy this morning came in, looking vaguely confused, asking for a tea to take out. He wanted a tea that wasn’t too strong, so I gave him a not too strong tea. Then when he’d tasted it he asked “How do I make it stronger?” HAVE YOU EVER EXPERIENCED TEA BEFORE IN YOUR LIFE just leave the fuckin’ bag in, moron! You asked for a tea that wasn’t strong, so that’s what you got (which I made sure to point out to him lol).

I should probably be more patient with people like this lol – after all, he wasn’t rude or unpleasant – but I just can’t humour people who don’t get it at all. I’ve not got time for trying to win over people who really just want a cup of fuckin’ PG Tips.
