– Got a lift to the circuit in a taxi with two RBR guys because the trains are fucked
– From Rob: any grief Felipe gets in the press is water off a duck’s back to him
– No hint on contract extension but Rob suggested he’d stick around “as long as he wants to be in F1”– Got some dazzling smiles from Checo & RoGro for being supportively gobby
– Nice chat with a guy from C4; I praised their coverage (only transitional struggle has been everyone assuming they’re still the BBC!)
– Was nearly taken out by someone running to get Jolyon’s autograph
– Buxton tripped over a cable cover lololololololol
– One of the motorhomes was playing the best of REM, bad times
– Complained about trains with Andrew “Sideburns” Murdoch (Andrew/Matteo shy OTP 5ever)
– Told Ted about his Ayao mispronunciation so look out for a potential future correction!
– There’s a guy at Pirelli who’d be accepted into the Amazing Hair Posse, no questions asked
– WHY IS GENE HAAS WEARING A BLACK SWEATSHIRT IT IS FUCKING ROASTING
– ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED: said Je t’aime to Jean Alesi HE GRINNED AND EVERYTHING
– Praised Jack Nicholls for his FE commentary (he misses Dario when he’s not there) and he’s just as excitable in real life 😂
– Giuly Salvi is still unbearably handsome
