More writing chat: another thing I really struggle with is actually, like, moving the story forward through Things Happening. I enjoy writing dialogue and thoughts and even feelings (eww) but when it comes to action – even non-actiony action – I just want to get it over with in the most perfunctory of ways so I can get to the consequences. Describing stuff happening is THE worst (and that’s what I’m doing/not doing right now lol)
