A ship you’ve abandoned and why.
I was just thinking the other day about a pairing I used to like but don’t anymore, but I can’t remember what it was! How annoying. I think I’ve gone off pairings before because one half turned out to be a bit of a twat so I decided he was undeserving of the other, haha. Or another reason might be I decide one or both halves go better with other people – I think this might’ve happened with Queen when I started out shipping Roger/Freddie and somehow moved over to Freddie/Brian. Though that was also due to a severe lack of decent Roger/Freddie fic – this has happened to me in other fandoms too, you end up lured into shipping the more common pairings through better fics!
R. A pairing you ship that you don’t think anyone else ships.
Judging by AO3, you’d think CharlieMac fell into this category, but p much everyone I know who watches Sunny ships it, it’s just been defeated in shallow fic-writing circles! 😐 Wankers.
I could also delve into the world of wrestling for this question but even ships I used to ship, alone, have kind of sunk, which is just sad

What’s a ship that you want to ship publicly, but everyone on tumblr hates it so you keep your mouth shut about it?
I can’t think of one off the top of my head – it’s more likely to be the other way round, lol, with a pairing I can’t stand but everyone else seems to love. If I love a pairing I tend to be pretty vocal about it, haha.
