As a few people pointed out, Carl does sing, “I tried it with Carl-ine and I spent three days on my back” instead of “Charlene” on Campaign of Hate in Brighton. Pertinent because of the debate over the name “Carline” written on Peter’s list of people he’d been with romantically in his diaries. (Source) Post about the list here.
