I want to be friendly to people and all but when strangers expect me to keep up a conversation on random topics I really don’t care about, for an indeterminate length of time, i don’t think they have any idea the anxiety they’re causing by putting me under that kind of scrutiny D: Just leave me alooooone unless you actually have something specific to say!
I’m still low to medium key annoyed about this. Like, i first met you a week ago, if you ask me “What are you doing?” I’m inclined to answer “That’s not really any of your business”, and if you ask me “What are you reading? What’s it about?” you’re forcing me to do work I never signed up for and don’t want to do. If you really had something to say it would be “Oh, I’ve read that, what do you think of it?” That’s a question worth my time. But otherwise, please just let me get on with my peaceful act of living?
