I’m interested in writing some kind of fake relationship/dating thing, and I already have the whole prompt in my mind, but I just… need a reason to ACTUALLY start the fake relationship? What kind of story/reason should I use to justify the fake relationship? What would you do? Sorry if I’m bothering you, but I’d be very happy to hear your ideas! Thank you <3

Hi! Thank you so much for your kind words, and don’t worry, you’re not bothering me at all! Though I’m perhaps not the best person to ask about fake relationship writing, as it’s not something I’ve done before, but I’ll see what I can offer! I mean, this might be pretty uncool haha but I personally would probably enjoy something like, trying to diplomatically avoid the attentions of another person and put them off by being seen with someone else? Then there’s various ways of having that play out, either lighter or more serious, depending on the tone of the rest of your story.
