The Libertines, lol

As I’ve said before, EXTREMELY CONTROVERSIALLY this is my least favourite libs album, haha. My favourite song on it is What Became of the Likely Lads, which tells you exactly where my masochistic streak lies, lol, and my other two favourites are Road to Ruin and What Katie Did. Clearly it’s a completely fascinating album and there’s moments of great insight and great pain and great poetry, but there are also several tracks that are, to my ears, just too flimsy to stand up in this company, and would be better substituted for the superior CSMN b-sides. But I’m always up for discussion of this! And today I was in a place with a ha-ha so have had a certain song in my head all afternoon lol. Thanks for asking! 😉
