man, I don’t wanna single anyone out and I also don’t wanna demonize girls but sometimes I read discussions about how wonderful and kind and empathetic adolescent girls are and I really, really wonder what kind of middle school experience everyone had
#also that’s why i always roll my eyes at ‘lord of the flies wouldn’t work with girls’!#like no it wouldn’t play out the same way#but a bunch of preteen girls stranded on an island could also get pretty nasty fast
