“There must be a few awesome motorsports-ladies, but how would I ever find them?!”
Allow me to spread the word about Speedqueens, a blog about awesome lady motorsporters, from 1897 to present day! All in English, nicely sorted, and full of interesting information!
Do you ever get that sudden outburst of motivation to go and make your life better then after 5 mins you’re like yeah that’s not happening
If you ever have to listen to anyone give you an insincere, absolute bullshit apology, just take comfort in the fact that it can’t be any worse than Orson Welles’ public “~apology~” after his War of the Worlds broadcast…
“I was extremely surprised to learn that a story which has become familiar to children through the medium of comic strips and many succeeding novels and adventure stories, should have had such an immediate and profound effect on radio listeners.”
“I won’t say I won’t follow this technique again, as it is a legitimate dramatic form.”
Which roughly translates to…
Sorry y’all are stupid.

#MotorsportGirlPower
Hi guys!
So, @coffee-and-vroomvroom had the brilliant idea of organizing a “dashboard takeover” to show our support for all the women in motorsport, especially seeing the latest comments and critiques that certain people have made towards the abilities of girls trying to make it into higher categories of racing.
What to do:
On Thursday March 8, which is incidentally also International Women’s Day, take to social media (tumblr, Instagram, twitter, etc) and post pictures/edits/word posts/whatever floats your boat of the women of motorsport that inspire you every day.
It doesn’t have to be just drivers, it doesn’t have to be just related to open wheel racing.
It can be anyone, even your mom who shares the passion of motorsport with you, or someone in the fandom that inspires you every day.
The (virtual) sky is the limit.
Please use the hashtag #MotorsportGirlPower – Let’s get it trending.
Show this critics that it can and will be done. That girls have only the limits we set outselves and not the ones set by others. Please feel free to reblog and post on other social media platforms.
Love you all xx
I made a tweet for it! Spread the word
