We are a little bit mental. We are about to go to Australia! We have also bought a hotel in Margate, which was ranked amongst the top 5 worst establishments in the country on Tripadvisor! It is a fully-functional building that we welcome people who either do or do not like our music to come to. You can say you hate The Libertines, you don’t need to like the music that I do, but you do need to be a nice person. Even if you don’t like the music, you could have a great sense of humour or be the most intellectual person ever. So I could still learn something from you. People can come along and have a drink, create something… whatever. It is a hub. Carl came up with the idea! The studio in it is nearly finished now.

Gary gave a talk at Northampton uni today. He sounds so proud of how crappy the hotel was haha. (x)

Someone I follow just reblogged from someone whose name I recognised as being a friend of a friend ten years ago, so I did some blog hopping and found some blogs belonging to people I knew way back then, in Saiyuki fandom. I looked up to them massively as they were fantastic authors, but we weren’t close friends, and we’re in completely different fandoms now so there’s no point adding them really, but it’s nice to see people are still going strong and fangirling the same as ever. 

My new(ish) phone doesn’t give me the sound notifications when I get a message on Tumblr for some reason, even though I have them turned on and my phone’s not on silent, so that’s real helpful.

Seriously, except for the excellent camera, the Pixel 2 is only as good as, or even inferior to, my old Galaxy S6. So that’s my top tech tip (along with DON’T BUY A CHEAP ACER COMPUTER or you will wish to kill yourself from frustration every time you try and do anything on it)
