15: What did you learn from writing this fic?

I’m in an intermittent war with myself over reading fics that are long and well-written but which contain loads of themes that really bother me. Like should I just stop being a baby and read them because I might not find better, or should I listen to the part of me that knows I’ll just end up unsettled and frustrated just for the sake of some good smut that will probably turn disturbing in some way anyway? Fanfic reading shouldn’t be this much of a dilemma lol

-Pete Doherty,

”I think there’s, y’know, obsession and jealousy on both of their sides. They bitch about each other to each other or to other people. They have a bond, intellectually and spiritually, like nothing I’ve ever seen … but sometimes, you know, you just think, God, why don’t you just get a room?!”

leannebenson:

I’ll keep posting these as I dig them out. This was from the Colour Bar in Camden in January 2004. It was last minute on a sunday night, really small space and squeezed in. If I remember rightly, the bar manager told them to wrap it up so they just kept merging one song into another so the last song was like another 20 minutes 🙂 again was a f’ing brilliant night.
