sometimes i wonder if in a previous time, you’ve ever passed by someone you’re close to now. like what if your best friend now, you passed by them at a grocery store when you were 5 and didn’t know. or like you passed by your future soulmate at a popular tourist attraction somewhere 10 years ago

My fiancee worked as a groomer at the petsmart where we took our dog when i was a teenager. He would have been 19 and I was 15 or so. Obvi nothing happened then but after we meet online 3- 4 years later and I took him to meet my parents he was like “ok this us going to sound weird but i know your dog”

When i was 15 or so we went to see a play from school and i don’t remember much about the play or characters and didn’t care either bc honestly it wasn’t that good. Fast forward five years and i’m talking about the plays we’ve been in with my boyfriend (we both do theatre) and this play i saw comes up. I mention i only remember the set and one nerdy character that was in one scene bc he was so annoying.

Turns out that nerdy character was him.

When I was a teenager, I went on a road trip with my parents and met a cool girl about my age and we chatted for like a half hour. No big. I go to uni several years later and meet my BFF from uni. Three years after meeting each other, we figured out it was each other we met that day in the farm office.

When I was an undergrad I went to anime society at the same time as a girl who, 10+ years later, I met through the #MassaMafia. (She looks p much the same now as she did then, which is depressing D;)

Update on Billy Monger

jabbubabbu:

Warning, it isn’t pleasant.

Updates have just been released by JHR Developments (the team that ran Billy Monger in Formula 4), Nick Armstrong and BTCC driver Tom Ingram.

Sadly, despite the efforts of all the medical teams involved in his recovery, Billy has lost both of his lower legs as a result of the crash.

https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/billymonger23 This link connects to a crowdfunding site which will be trying to raise
£260,000, or as much as they can,

for Billy to help support him in his recovery. It also includes the official statement from the gentlemen listed above.

Even if you can’t donate money to this cause please keep Billy in your thoughts.

I’m a nerd, but not in the useful “you’ll all be working for me one day when I invent jet packs” way. I’m a nerd in the “I have very strong opinions about history and literature and will yell them at you if you give me even the slightest opportunity” way. And that one does not pay well.
