The single longest piece of literature in human history is a fanfiction. The Subspace Emissary’s Worlds Conquest is a fanfic loosely based on Super Smash Bros. Brawl. It is currently over 4,000,000 words long. The writer started in March of 2008, and they are still going!

I was just thinking about this recently actually, like a lot of my friendships aren’t overly lovey – we don’t hug much, or get each other birthday presents, or send each other messages filled with hearts or “You slay gurl~~” type sentiments. But that doesn’t mean we don’t support each other, or encourage each other’s work or personal endeavours. So y’know, if we talk regularly i care about you, and you can know that if you’re ever in need, practically or emotionally or psychologically, I’ll do my best to help however i can. 👍👍👍

In a victory activists were unsure they’d get, Uganda’s Constitutional Court overturned the country’s draconian Anti-Homosexuality Act today, declaring the anti-LGBT law “null and void” because of a parliamentary technicality in how it was passed.
The court determined that when members of Parliament passed the law in December 2013, Speaker Rebecca Kadaga had not established quorum — a required minimum number of members present to vote — effectively invalidating the law.
