Yasuba had good chemistry before Subaru got all weird like he does, lol, and theyāve never really got it back 
But, as I may have touched on already lol, I love the very real chemistry Rolipe have, the way theyāre so matey, but also have genuine affection for each other, enjoy each otherās company so much they spend time together even outside of work time, the way Rob bigs Felipe up to the media AT EVERY AVAILABLE OPPORTUNITY because he really believes in him and wants him to get the recognition he deserves. Thereās no-one who Felipeās not related to whoās a bigger fan of him than Rob is, and I can never get enough of that, it heals my very soul~

Hmm, I canāt remember one I *dis*liked that I came to like (though Iām sure it has happened lol), but thereās definitely ones I initially dismissed in favour of something else, but then it turned out there was less fic for the other thing so I eventually got on board the bigger ship, lol. Heero/Duo is definitely an example of that! Thought Iād be all hipster and ship some rare pair, but quickly realised thatās a lonely furrow to plough (as it were) and caved into shipping the popular pairing with lots of fic.Ā

Matt/Cal, and I donāt even really know why! I know I kind of went off Cal, possibly cos of him being friends with Jack Miller/being a bit of a nob in general, plus they got separated by Matt going over to superbike coverage, so that ship sank for me.

EVERY WRESTLING SHIP EVER, though wrestling ships do tend to sink rapidly and frequently due to the ends of old feuds/alliances, and the beginnings of new ones. EC3/Rockstar Spud was my favourite, though that sank long ago. āI can ship this *clap clap clapclapclap*ā is something I frequently chant under my breath at wrestling shows, lol. I mean what else can you think, with all the grappling and nudity and pinning and all??Ā

Rolipeeeee 4 lyfe. Ngl a big reason why I just couldnāt bring myself to have any real reservations about Felipe coming back to F1 was that we (and they) get ONE MOAR YEAR TOGETHER and that just made me so happy cos I legit didnāt know what I was going to do without seeing Felipe bothering bae on pitwall anymore. I love that they really, genuinely are good friends who understand each other and, as I mentioned in another answer, have a chemistry that makes you think of what couldāve happened in another universe… I love that believability in a pairing, feels so good to see them together~ And even when Felipe does retire for good, just knowing theyāll still be going on holidays together and talking on the phone or w/e every day just gladdens my pathetic fangirl heart ā¤

Hmm. Iām sure I *have*, cos Iām a natural born shipper, but the example that springs to mind isnāt quite a ship, but as soon as I started watching Gundam Wing I knew I was ready to ship Quatre with *someone*. I didnāt even know slash was a thing that other people did at that time, but I already knew I liked gay stuff, canon or not, and he was *firmly* placed in that role for me from the start. Even though he didnāt really end up as part of an OTP lol.Ā

Cheerful one/grumpy one. Every major ship Iāve had that I can think of conforms to this pattern, haha. I like the gruffer one having a soft side that only the cheerful one can bring out *_*

Oh man, I donāt even remember cos Iāve been a shipper literally forever. When I was a kid I shipped het pairs in all my fave TV shows and books, including non-canon pairs/pairs that werenāt the ones you were supposed to ship, though I canāt remember specifics now. Eg Iām sure I mustāve shipped Maid Marian with *someone*, but I cannot remember who, though Iām hoping it was Barrington rather than Robin, lol. I even shipped athletes – I remember shipping Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf when they both won Wimbledon, years before they got married, so fingers crossed for the rest of my OTPs eh

Heero/Duo from Gundam Wing, for sure, cos they were the first pairing I wrote a large quantity of fic for, and I guess the first proper pairing community I was a part of. Plus there was a MOUNTAIN of fic for them, so I had a lot of happy times there.Ā

And ofc Rolipe, in part cos theyāre my current OTP and have been for over 5 years now, but also cos, again, thereās a really great and tangible chemistry between them and the what-ifs and headcanons are rich and plentiful. Plus thereās some really top class fic for them, and all the Rolipe shippers Iāve met are also top class folks and Iām glad to knowĀ āem :3bĀ

(I answered this question before I considered that actually itās probably more about canon fictional ships and their creators lol, but safe in the knowledge that Iām not really a part of these fandoms I wrote a meaner answer about the fic in them lol >.>)
Because of who asked me this I am ofc put in mind of NEARLY ALL MY PRINCE OF TENNIS SHIP man I boarded every ghost ship going in that fandom and had to adopt some more populous ships almost out of desperation lol. Momo/Ryoma was a particularly bad example, I seem to recall – very rare you got anything decent for them, cos people in that fandom just didnāt like cheeriness ;(
Also Freddie/Brian in Queen fandom, which is 99% awf except that one amazing writer. I donāt like that skew!
