F1-loving couple came in today to look at the venue for their wedding. Had good chats, tho I’m a bit worried I might’ve gone a bit heavy on the “I don’t like Lewis” lol >.> Also the usual worry that I didn’t manage to rein my fannishness in to a casual enough level in general lol ;(

We agreed that Jenson should go to WEC :3b As they were leaving the guy was like, “Hope Massa keeps his drive!” So kind lol.

They also loved tea tho so I’m really looking forward to their wedding!

One of my favourite regulars came in today and we were talking about the Olympics. He’s about 60 but he’s not like a brexiter or anything lol, he’s a great guy. He was saying that he was wondering if our divers who won the gold medals were a couple, cos they said they were housemates etc. Ngl I’d thought the same lol. I was like, he’s one of us! Retired gentleman shipper, heheh. Love it.

this-tragic-affair:

how do people not swear??? like where does their anger go?? how do they show their enthusiasm??? what if they stub their toe??? like saying golly gosh isn’t really gonna cut it barbara

I grew up in a non-swearing home and never swore at all until I was into adulthood. Now I have no idea how I coped o_O

I was thinking it’d be nice if people (ie randoms, not friends) were nicer to me but then I think actually the nicest thing they can do is probably just leave me alone. That’s the main thing I want out of life really, to be left to my own devices. It’s best for everyone really.
