is he pretty: HE IS NOW. the boy was a disaster when he was younger but now he’s a fucking fertility god. honey badger more like HONEY GALAXY EYES like dangggg what colour are they. can i look into them forever. also that nose, it’s weird and ridiculous but so cute and def the biggest fertility god trait (that we know of WHAT WHAT). also that mouth. everyone loves that mouth. you know those fountains that have statues that pee? how the statues are hot dudes on steroids? daniel ricciardo is a live version of that.

Experiencing catcalling when you’re not conventionally attractive is such an internal predicament. Because on one hand, when you experience it you’re repulsed. Because it’s still harassment. But on the other hand- you finally feel that someone finds you desirable. And as fucked up as it is, it validates you for yourself.
And if you don’t experience, you wonder if something is wrong with you, like you’re not pretty enough or desirable enough for it.
And I just think it’s really fucked up that our society has shaped us into thinking that there must be something wrong with us if we aren’t harassed, that if we are its okay to feel good about it. It’s fucked up.

It’s here! With the summer break looming were all going to need something to get us through the lack of racing, so the Summer Fic Exchange 2016 is open!
Important Dates
Entry for the exchange is open until 2nd of August. Any entries submitted after this will not be able to be included in the exchange.
Assignments will be handed out by 5th of August.
Completed fics must be returned to me by 19th August. This will give everyone TWO WEEKS to write and submit their fics for the exchange.
All works will be posted onto AO3 in an exchange fic on 21st August.
Submission Form
Everyone wishing to take part in this summer fic exchange must complete a submission form and send it to my imbox on tumblr. I will confirm I have received your submissions so you know that you have been accepted onto the exchange. Please only participate in this exchange if you believe you can get your fic written within the time windows indicated above.
To make everything very easy for me I will put a template of the submission form below. This way it will be very clear for you and me and I will be able to assign fics to the most appropriate people 🙂 The form can be seen below:
Tumblr name: AO3 name (if applicable): Three ships you want your fic to be written about (in preference order): Three prompts: Maximum rating wanted for your fic (E, M, T or G): Anything you do not want to appear in your fic (bloodkink, MCD, etc.): Anything you do not want to write (mpreg, Dom/Sub, etc.): Any ships you do not want to write about:
Everyone in the exchange will receive their prompt cards on the 5th of August. They will be assigned to each person based on the information within the submission form so there is no such thing as too much information on each section! Be as clear as possible on your submission forms.
If your ship does not have a ship name please indicate the two drivers. If your ship includes a driver that shares a name with another driver (I.E. Nico) please make sure it is clear which Nico you mean.
PLEASE NOTE that the reason behind submitting three ships and three prompts is to give the writer a choice. If a certain prompt is to be written with a certain ship please indicate this in the PROMPTS section.

There are not many rules to the fic exchange as it is just a bit of fun to keep us all tied over whilst there is a lack of racing on, but:
This is a Formula One fic exchange. Any requests for other fandoms will not be accepted.
A minimum of 1000 words is needed for each fic submitted – If you feel this may be an issue please talk to me 🙂

hey everyone! as of tonight we’ve pushed an update that should fix autoplaying audio/video in all of the situations that it occurs, whether triggered by Anti-Capitalism, Blacklist, or another third-party tool. thanks for sticking with us while we trudge waist deep together through the mire of code that comprises Tumblr. trust me—this was truly a sticky bug to unravel.
This update is part of XKit Patches version 6.4.0. You can update XKit Patches using the “Update All” button:

Just a reminder because these posts are spreading farther then our usual audience: We’re a team of developers that run and maintain the New XKit project, a fork of XKit that was started after the original was abandoned in late 2014. New XKit is on version 7.7.1 (chrome, opera), 7.7.3 (firefox), or 7.7.2 (safari). Anything earlier then 7.6.x is old/original XKit, and you’ll need to disable it to install New XKit. (You can migrate your settings, but it’s a little involved—disable for now, and come ask us about it later)

fyi, because I just spent a few minutes working this out for myself: XKit Patches is an internal extension that runs on every copy of XKit. (That is, it’s not like Blacklist or Anticapitalism: it doesn’t normally appear in your list of extensions.) Nevertheless, never fear, it IS there and running. You can force it to update using the Update All button as described above.
If, like me, you want to see for yourself what rev of XKit Patches you’re currently running, you can go to the “Other” tab and turn on “Internals” (bottom of the sidebar), and that will make XKit Patches show up in your list of installed extensions on the “My XKit” tab.
…or, you know, you could just follow the directions above and hit Update All as directed, and trust the lovely people running New XKit.

YAY i hope this finally does it because it was really frustrating to be scrolled way down my dash and suddenly music starts and my only option was to just close the tab or turn off my sound entirely.

Have they fixed the bug that made Hermes delete text on image posts yet? Cos I miss Hermes. Most of the time my dash sidebar still loads wrong, and idk if that’s a problem with Tumblr, or Xkit, but I’m sure Hermes made it better, before I had to uninstall it.
