Looks like Peter’s friend/collaborator, the French songwriter s a r a s a r a, is about to be on BBC Radio 3?!
One year ago tonight, I was at this glamorous location, seeing the Libs in what’s undoubtedly the worst venue I’ve ever been to, lol. But it was a great show, and even better, it was the first show i saw with this lovely girl!
I’m so happy I’ve got to know @jessinthesky and had so many amazing Libs experiences with her, and spent some lovely non-Libs times with her too! I still can’t believe that I could find such a kind, loyal, funny, genuine fandom friend, someone who’s so easy to be with, right there in my own city! Especially someone who you can drag along to an exhibition of a mock up charnel house without a word of complaint 😅🤦 Here’s to many more Libby and non-Libby adventures in future! 😊😘

Where was it even supposed to be held? The Albion rooms? Several people saw him yesterday in Margate so he’s definitely around
Good question! I was assuming he’d found an empty unit somewhere in Margate – there’s lots of similar-type shops around there, so it’d fit in nicely I’m sure, but I’ve not come across any other evidence except Peter’s own tweets!
Alright so Peter’s on one on Twitter lol and implied that this endeavour – whatever form it might take exactly – is at Fort Road, Margate, which is home to a mad junk/antiques yard/artspace full of things like old fairground rides and church pews and a lifesize stuffed bear. Peter (and the puppies) have been pictured there before so i guess that’s what’s happening, lol.

Pete has probably forgotten all about the shop already… I hope he would concetrate on music now, if his new solo album is almost ready then I hope we get to hear it soon.
Haha well I did have the same thought initially, like “Does anyone else know about this, or is it just in his own head” lol, but then he mentioned it again, and there is precedent in that he’s had shops before, so… I guess it’ll just be something for him to have till he gets bored of it or someone tells him to stop, lol. BUT yes I do hope he’s going to concentrate on music, tho I’m more anxious for him to get back to work with the Libertines than anything else, I have to say!
Is it known who “Fernsly” is? I’ve heard some say Carl but it could just as easily be Peter especially since he was supposedly trying to read Emily Dickinson!! I think Albion rooms used to be for Peter’s art and merch and stuff originally…
My (mostly) joke theory is that it’s Carl, but i doubt it is really, haha. I also wonder if it’s Dean Fragile, who’s been making those videos of the Albion Rooms as it’s being renovated. But I like a mystery! 😉
