13. How was your birthday this year?

Hmm what did I do? I went to my favourite jazz bar with my bf on my actual birthday, and then went out for a meal with my friends the weekend after. P standard but it was nice! 

17. Post a picture from the end of the year

Real snowflakes from today!! We’d never seen such authentic-looking snow before, we didn’t know it really existed haha. Like something from a Disney movie!

Top 5 favourite things that have happened to you this year

Oo, that’s a good one!

1. I guess the first awesome thing that happened this year was Felipe coming back to F1! I still remember the excitement of that day and being late to meet @shinyforce cos I was waiting for the news to come through, haha. 
2. Relatedly, the Williams 40th anniversary track day was an awesome time with a bunch of the #MassaMafia girls, and group pics with Bob ‘n’ Phil. 
3. Tramlines was a pretty pivotal event, as it precipitated my landslide descent into Libertines fandom, haha. The latter is the more important happening, because not only has the universe delivered me another fandom to take away the sting of Felipe retiring (twice and for all) from F1, it’s also given me songs that’ve re-invigorated my love of music, some pretty powerful emotions about both that music and the people who made it, and some awesome new friends. ❤
4. Another F1 one, but Monza was a good time too, despite the dreadful weather on some of the days lol. Not only was it nice to see Felipe’s last Italian GP with some of the Mafia girls, I also spent an absolutely perfect day walking round Bergamo in the sun the Monday after. I got that one absolutely right!
5. I also had an amaaaaazing time at Williams HQ for the Singapore GP, which was my birthday present from my bf this year. I’m glad I fitted that in before Felipe retired as well, lol, cos it was a brilliant experience!
