For the music asks: 10, 22, 35 :)

10. something you’ve heard performed live

At this time my mind goes straight to The Libertines – Good Old Days cos it was my unexpected highlight of the tour this year ❤ I always enjoyed the song but I loved how they did it live, with the lighting and all as well.

(Sound quality not that good but this is a show I was at!)

22. a song you can’t help but dance to

Dancing’s a bit of a sore point since the Wedding Incident. I don’t like to think about it lol. I’m not much of a dancer (which is what led to the Incident) but back in the day it’d be something like The Coral – Dreaming of You. Or The White Stripes – Hotel Yorba!

35.   a great song you discovered thanks to a movie

Raul Seixas – Metamorfose Ambulante, from my all-time favourite movie, City of God. And it led me to discover the wonderful music of Raul. #TocaRaul

Thanks for asking! 🙂

Re. Optus Dan and Aboriginal languages – I assumed that was what he meant when he said that there are 200 languages native to Australia and English isn’t one of them. But yes, he could’ve used the word Aboriginal, and preferably reminded white people that they’re immigrants too, at the same time. (Disclaimer: I’m not Australian, I’m a Brit, and I’d like to see an equivalent to Optus Dan talking back to white xenaphobes over here, too :))

Yeah, he kept mentioning Australia having a history of welcoming immigrants from all over – I’m not sure some of them were invited, or were that welcome when they started killing people >.> Those commenters really have no leg to stand on when it comes to being taken over by people perceived as being a threat!
