listen……. ‘my love’ is literally the strongest and greatest pet name in existence. there is literally nothin better than somone callin you that….. especially when things are soft and quiet and they look at you with utter adoration and whisper “what’s the matter, my love??” or “i hope everything is okay with you, my love” like oh my god?? let me marry you already

You know what, Peter was right, Carl’s not that bad an actor at all! And the movie itself also wasn’t nearly as difficult to get through as I feared. It was genuinely engaging and although clearly pretty angsty, there were actually some properly amusing lines and moments in it too! I really did enjoy Carl’s performance and the way he delivered his lines very much – I think he brought the right measure of both callousness and vulnerability. I was bracing myself for a much more sordid movie, tbh, so I was in some sense relieved – but otoh what it lacked in grit it kind of made up for in a sort of general air of sadness. Which makes it sound weird to say I was “pleasantly surprised”, but that’s how I’d sum it up! Definitely worth watching anyway.

I wish I could say stuff about Queen and have anybody gaf lol, like ranking the albums or talking about underrated songs. Basically I want it to be like 2011 Monkees fandom, that was good times (pun unintentional but I’ll go with it)
