Which artist/band have you seen the most live?

Jedward, which won’t surprise people who’ve known me since 2010, haha. I ain’t even sorry ;3 I have no idea how many times I’ve seen them, or even in how many places. Good adventures man, haha.

Have you ever had surprise guests at a concert you attended?

When I saw K8 at Tokyo Dome in 2007, Uchi showed up, and I didn’t know how to feel – I didn’t know if he was going to come back to the band, and I definitely didn’t know if that was what I wanted, lol. In the end he didn’t (to my relief) and I can look back and just remember the total crazy emotional reaction of 55000 fangirls around me on the night, haha. 

65. Have you seen any artists in concerts that you don’t like anymore?

I suppose I’m not that bothered about some bands from my teenage years anymore – but then, I saw that Cast are coming to Sheffield later this year and I did get a bit of a nostalgia hit ngl, haha. I guess I’ve seen some people I was never that bothered about in the first place – like, I once saw Super Furry Animals, who were fine, but I could’ve seen Franz Ferdinand instead and I still feel like I chose wrong

Have you added anything stupid/cracky/hilarious to your fandom, if so, what?

I’ve written many a cross-dressing fic, some of which were intentionally cracky, others less intentionally lol. I was also partly responsible for the Dinosaur Zone LJ comm in Prince of Tennis which had many stupid, cracky and hilarious times – that fandom was full of a very unique lunacy which was a lot of fun, lol. (Better than the series itself anyway lbr >.>)

Name a fandom you didn’t care/think about until you saw it all over tumblr.

The main thing I can think of that I watched having seen it on Tumblr is It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, lol, but that’s not really a fandom – though I do read fic for it when there’s any for my pairing, which is increasingly rare since the last season ;( Still, thanks @cryonblackrain for spreading the good word ;3

Choose a song at random, what ship does it remind you of?

Oh, I’m not very good at these, haha. Perhaps surprisingly for someone who reckons to be a writer, I am Not A Lyrics Person, so I’m extremely vague in these matters. K8 fandom was easier cos my OTP wrote a bunch of songs together, including Yasu sitting in his car in the middle of the night writing the music for Desire “thinking of Subaru as his girlfriend”, and you can’t top that, tbf. And of course we’ve recently added the Rolling Stones’ Start Me Up to the canon of Rolipe songs – which became even more interesting when @nadayoghurt drew my attention to the full lyrics XD
