4. three songs that you know thanks to your parents

Most of the music I listened to up to the age of at least 13 was thanks to my parents (well, my dad specifically) and I still listen to a lot of it! Let’s see if I can pick three! 

Ricky Valance – Tell Laura I Love Her (I used to make my dad sing this to me when I was a small child, even though it always made me extremely sad)
The Shirelles – Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow (my dad’s favourite song)
The Scaffold – Lily the Pink (aaaand the more nonsense side of my dad and his musical taste, lol)

19. three songs that are your guilty pleasure 

Jedward – Can’t Forget You
Carl Barat – Je Regrette, Je Regrette
Bonzo Dog Band – Mr Apollo (not so much a *guilty* pleasure per se, but you can’t play this song in, say, a cafe without feeling very odd about it lol)

She’s friendly, honest, loyal, kind and generous, and also very funny and sharp and a good writer too >.> She deserves all the happiness and I’m so glad she lives just up the road so I have a local buddy for gigs and Libs and general fangirling! 4. Where’s your dream destination? Do you believe you’ll ever get there?

I’d love to see places like the ancient temples in Mexico – it’s not somewhere I’d want to go alone, but my bf has been and I know he’d love to go back, so I can’t see why not! 

15. What was your most recent trip like?

My most recent trip was to Gozo, which is a small island just off Malta, but it was only very brief – bf’s sister had a baby and we went over for the christening so we spent most of the time with his family. It’s a lovely place though, loads of great restaurants and beautiful views – there’s not tons to do but it’s a great place to just relax, would recommend!

22. Do you prefer to go to one location and stay there for an extended period of time or go from place to place?

I like to go from place to place. If I’m going a long way I like to see as much different stuff as I can! 

32. Have you ever missed a train/plane or lost an important item on the road? What happened?

I don’t think I have actually! I’ve been separated from my luggage for periods of a day or two, but nothing major.

Am I a fan: I like their music, but I can’t say I ever want them to reform for any length of time, sorry lol

First song I heard: Bang Bang You’re Dead, which was on the radio alllll the time in 2006!

Have I been to a concert: No, but I have seen Carl play some DPT songs with his pals in a shopping centre on a Hull council estate lol which is one of my favourite gigs I’ve ever been to just cos of the randomness. And I’m so grateful I got to see songs performed I never thought I’d get to see live!
