lady grey: favourite outfit?

Hmm my unicorn Lindy Bop dress is pretty awesome (as are all my Lindy Bop dresses), but I also have a lovely teal skirt that goes with a paisley shirt I have an a teal woollen tank top and that’s a favourite too!

3 facts about my family

– I’m an only child, and so was my dad
– my parents were mid-30s when I was born which at the time was extremely rare and considered weird by my peers
– my mum’s only brother is 9 years older than her and had kids younger so my cousins are much older than me and I’ve never really had a relationship with them. Hence my family is small and not very close but I reeeaaally don’t mind that haha

darjeeling: a hobby?

I think my only proper hobby atm is reading (fanfiction). Unless stalking Instagram counts

8. Bed sharing or roommates AU?

Oh man both!! Tho I mean now I’m in a fandom where both are canon, I guess the ratty single mattress on a basement floor bed sharing holds the most appeal ;3 All that huddling together for warmth in winter, waking up with massive boners in faces, going to bed wasted enough that you wouldn’t necessarily remember everything you did… plenty to work with there ;3

16. Describe your WIP that currently has the highest word count.

Out of my active WIPs, it’s my beloved roadtrip fic. IT IS NEARLY FINISHED I SWEAR and when it’s done it’ll def be the fic I’m most proud of (as long as people actually are happy with the ending lol). Hopefully I might get it close to completion over Christmas??? I’m looking forward to writing while I’m off work like I did last year!

19. What’s your favorite character headcanon?

I love how the types of headcanons I have have suddenly veered from the ridiculous to the sublime, lol. I mean Rolipe-wise, I always loved the idea that, on nights out for example, Felipe was the ~sensible one keeping wild northern lad Rob in check and making sure he didn’t end up sleeping in a bin somewhere. But with Pete n Carl all my headcanons are HEAVY HEAVY HEAVY and some are probably at least a little bit real and most are more than a little bit heartbreaking lol. But they all involve them being Meant To Be Together Always and that we can all agree on right

2. Album of the year 

Well it’s not an album from this year, clearly, but Anthems For Doomed Youth is my personal album of the year, no surprises there lol. I genuinely love the album and it’s always going to be important as a marker of the start of a new branch of my life and a reminder of those couple of weeks where I could barely eat or sleep because FEELINGS. Yeah, I measure my life stages by my obsessions, haha, and why not?!

12. Talk about a new friend you made this year

Hehe, welllll funny story~ Completely by coincidence me and a certain sender of this ask were both at Tramlines in July and saw the Libs there and decided this was something we wanted in on, haha. And through the magic of Tumblr I saw that Jess wanted to go see them on tour as well and it just made natural sense for two Sheffielders to go together~~ And I’m so happy to have met someone so lovely and funny and smart and who’s so much fun to be with, who lives just up the road! I can’t actually believe how lucky that is and I hope we can have a lot more fun adventures into the new year~~

19. What’re you excited about for next year?

First up I’m going to Portugal in January so that’ll be nice~ And then in August there’s the Libs at Victorious festival in Portsmouth but that seems a very very long way away rn, haha. Hopefully we’ll have more stuff to look forward to from the lads as well but I’m taking everything as it comes, lol. I don’t really plan the future cos I know how changeable I am haha, I prefer the spontaneity of doing things RIGHT NOW!
