Are there any new or old musical influences that have contributed towards the new album?

We’re trying to make a record and a sound that we haven’t made before, really in response to our surroundings, our environment and the moment we’re in.The musical influences for that are too varied and diverse to get into it.

The Libertines seem to be stronger than ever, what brought you back together?

The collective realisation that we create something special when we’re together, more so than when we’re apart.

Thoughts? Different can be good. Different can be not good.
