In K8 fandom it was @everydayfandom, who gave me all my best ideas lol. But for F1 it tends to just be me, going wrong all by myself and forcing it on anyone who’ll listen. 

20. Describe your perfect writing conditions.

Ideally, in a nice cafe or pub with a good pot of tea or glass of wine – though lbr no writing conditions are perfect, I can find distraction anywhere and everywhere.

Oh man, I had a great answer to this before, but it’s slipped my mind. I’m fairly certain it was something by @gimmefirefic ;3

37. Talk about your current wips.

Ha, I keep remembering old ones I’d completely forgotten about and abandoned! Of course, the big one is my zombie apocalypse fic, which I feel has made some good progress recently – it’s now over 10k words and is teetering on the brink of a Very Important Thing happening which will swiftly lead to the denouement of the fic, so I just need to gear myself up for the difficult bit. 

There’s also a drabble I started for the Chinese GP, and in the process I also found myself thinking afresh about a prompt which I already had in progress when you suggested a similar one to me ages ago, haha – something about waking up after a night of drunken sex, lol. I started it ages ago and it was shit but I think this new direction might salvage it.

I also started fics like a brothel AU (Rob, reluctantly at first, gets involved with high class prostitute Felipe and falls in love etc etc), and a lecturer/student AU (lecturer Rob and international student Felipe are attracted to each other but try very hard to fight their ~urges to act on it). So if anyone feels like encouraging me about any of these, just let me know~ (results not guaranteed >.>)

How do you come up with your fanfic titles?

Lately, nearly everything is a song lyric, haha. Sometimes I take a line from the fic itself, because I’m just too pleased with the line. Wow that’s awful lol

44.  What is your all time favourite fanfic?

Probably the best fic I’ve ever read is still The Wheel, a Saiyuki fic by New Kate. It’s the length of a substantial novel, and it’s a reincarnation fic that covers so many different settings and scenarios and permutations that I was just so impressed I wanted to jack in writing altogether, lol. Another fic that made me feel like that was that very very long retro F1 fic about a bunch of drivers from the 70s/80s who I don’t even really know well but the smut was just SO good it goes into the all-time favourites list. And yes, those are my two ready answers that I often give to this question so I can diplomatically avoid mentioning anyone I know, and thus also avoid the risk of forgetting to mention someone D;
