Peter and mine’s friendship was always a very magical thing. The time we used to spend together and the things we used to do. […] I do love Peter so dearly. Ever since I first met him – he had this innate ability to just charm someone. To me he’d say ‘I know you’re working class, with a violent past, but a poetic sort of temperament’, and I thought ‘wow, yeah, you really know me’ [laughs] So endearing, so beautiful.
I don’t know if anyone has already said this, and it’s going to show the true height/depth of my nerdery, but one of my little highlights of Wheels & Fins was seeing Peter and Carl standing together at the side of the stage during John Power’s set and just chatting and laughing and enjoying the music with each other. That’s the stuff of my fangirl dreams, just seeing them interacting together naturally.
