It’s a beautiful thing that we should all believe in. Yeah, I missed my friend so much, I still don’t think I spend enough time with him, and he’s my soulmate and I love him and that’s the truth. Y’know, Vice UK are never going to forgive you for asking that. Something so pure, and beautiful, and true. They’re going to say, a soulmate is a myth, and then bang, when they experience a soulmate, then that’s what destroys the myth. And that’s what makes it so great.

When we write, we write, in a funny way, to each other. That hasn’t changed, and we had a lot to say…once you set the song up it starts to absorb your history from you, and the meaning arrives without you even intending it to half the time.
