Should I feel bad that an anime’s art style can influence whether or not I want to watch it?
I like the style of Naruto and Bleach, but I started watching an episode of Saiyuki a couple of days ago and it was just irritating, even though I know it’s a good story.
I feel bad.
The Saiyuki anime is shit and the Saiyuki animation is also shit! The manga on the other hand is incredible so ;3
Haha, I was quite into Saiyuki aaaaaaaaages ago, like…10 years ago or something, but I don’t remember how I felt about the animation back then. But when I checked it out now it was just so very not cool.
I also loved Saiyuki around that time! There were some amazing fics in that fandom, ngl. Except my OTP was one of the least popular pairings ;(
Oh yes, I remember the fic! I tend to fall for the typical pairings, fortunately. It makes finding stuff to read so much easier. 😛 I was pretty much into any combination of Sanzo/Genjyo/Hakkai. 😀
I liked Gojyo/Hakkai but Sanzo/Gojyo was a 100% NOTP for me XD But my real true OTP was Sanzo/Goku. Not *the* rarest pairing, but… rare enough ;( I guess my pairing ~type~ isn’t most people’s
