Some v v rough notes from tonight at Warrington before i forget:

– Puff the Magic Dragon, with all sorts of lyrics about Arcady and Gary

– P&C didn’t shoop-shoop together for Katie but Carl crowd-surfed (while maintaining perfect vocals) and some guy got on stage with Pete and kissed him on the lips. Pete p much no sold him (seen a video on ig)

– P&C both got on the monitors at the front a few times and towards the end when Pete did it Carl stood not far away behind him and grabbed the waistband of his jeans tight (seen pics of this on ig)

– they had several adorable playfights, like Peter swooping in for a mock-peck and Carl being like, what was that? And kicking at each other playfully etc

– in a bit where they were sharing the mic Carl wasn’t having whatever Peter was trying to do so he put his arm over his shoulder very firmly to keep him where he wanted him and there was a cute lil tussle

– similarly Peter put his hand over Carl’s mouth to stop him singing when Peter didn’t want him to

– *everyone except Carl starts playing gunga din, Carl’s doing idek what and it sounds like a big mess* Carl: *you* said Jeremy Corbyn! And *you* said Fame and Fortune! *everyone starts over*

– Peter, to the audience: Has anyone ever been in a hot air balloon? *lengthy exchange, including animated gestures, off mic with Carl* Peter: …Never mind then

– Carl messing up Waterloo several times and laughing to himself.

– not long after that P&C had a brief cute hug which i hope was Carl saying “sorry for fucking that up” lol. There were a couple of other lovely hugs, nuzzles and plenty of whispering 👍 Carl seemed v attentive to Peter throughout, even when they weren’t close together

– i wanna be adored, with Carl on drums and Peter on bass (seen a bit of this on ig too)
