Yes, I have! Or more accurately, I’ve listened to the audiobook, for the full Carl experience haha. I really enjoyed it, I think his writing is very engaging and natural and reads very genuinely. I think the book offers some really good insights, and I have to say I felt great relief that when he was writing about the Libertines and Peter, it wasn’t bitter or unpleasant, even though of course parts of it were very sad. I think it conveyed a lot of Carl’s romanticism and his intelligence too, and again I was quite relieved he came across as a thoughtful and reflective guy, especially about some difficult issues. It was nice that overall he was in a place where he was able to write something positive. I’d actually love to read more of his writing!
