favourite song: I probably would’ve said Friday I’m in Love but I have a soft spot for Boys Don’t Cry since the Libs covered it, haha

least favourite song: I have by no means an exhaustive knowledge of Cure songs but I heard The Caterpillar on the radio for the first time in ages the other day and I’m not fond of that lol

favourite song: This is like the world’s hardest question but I usually say Dear Prudence. Or Sexy Sadie.

least favourite song: Leaving aside the obvious Revolution #9, I really can’t stand The Long & Winding Road. 

have i ever seen them live: I’ve seen Paul McCartney so I have at least seen some of their songs performed live, heh

how many of their albums i have: I have several on a number of different formats because I wanted to replace my cassette collection with CDs, which now seems rather foolish lol. But I do also have my mum’s original 1966 vinyl of Revolver! I’ve undoubtedly played it more than she ever did, lol.

favourite album: The White Album or Revolver

favorite lyrics: This is a question I’ve never really considered! There’s just so much variety in their lyrics and so much evolution over time. Maybe Taxman, I do like a bit of social commentary, and also a good set of rhymes

favorite music video: Hmm I don’t really think this applies in the same way it does today, but I do like the bit in Help! where they’re performing I Need You on Salisbury Plain and looking like they’re freezing their arses off lol

favourite song: Probably All of your Toys, but I’m Not Your Steppin’ Stone and I’m a Believer come close!

least favourite song: The obvious answer is The Day We Fall In Love, right? I know some would say Your Auntie Grizelda but at least that actually has a tune

have i ever seen them live: Yes! Twice, in 2011

favourite band member: These days probably Micky, he seems the least problematic lol

least favourite band member: For the opposite reason, probably Peter lol. Though in the show I love him!

how many of their albums i have: I have a cheap CD set of their original albums, and the outstanding Definitive collection, which is an album I hold very dear

favourite album: Today I’m going to say Headquarters! .

favorite lyrics: Mommy & Daddy (both versions). Ask your mommy why everybody swallows all those little pills/Ask your daddy why that soldier doesn’t care who he kills… Do you think I’m too young to know, to see, to feel, or hear/My questions need an answer or a vacuum will appear… 

I love how Micky was determined to use his platform to speak up for his generation and the things they cared about, and it’s pretty great they let him through the medium of a tween pop group.

favorite music video: This is a hard pick! All their romps are highlights of the show. I do like the Take a Giant Step one where Micky is just sat around singing dressed as Mrs Arcadian tho, lol. 

ever met any members: No, and seems a bit unlikely they’ll ever come back to the UK buuut we can keep hoping!
